A Few Suggestions...

This will be our 2nd time using FanDraft Software and our 1st time using the Draft Order Software. It's really just a cool way to replace picking names out of a hat for us.

However, here are a few things I think would enhance the experience:

1. Zoom Window - There isnt enough ZOOM on the Zoom Window. It's only about 2 to 3x the regular window and really all it needs to be is an extreme close-up of the top of the chute with the ball taking up 1/2 the Window. Watch any Powerball Lottery drawing and you'll see what i mean (http://www.musl.com/videos_pb.asp)

2. The Announcer is ..well.. pretty bad - Sorry if the voiceover is one of you gentlemen, but really he's awfully mundande and digitized. He just sounds like he doesnt want to be there. Surely you can grab a professional voice talent for short money to record a few tracks. I think this would DRASTICALLY improve the experience.

3. PreDraft Presentation - Along with the team names and pictures, it would be good to include in that presentation how many balls that team gets in the upcoming draft. Also, i dont setup pictures of the managers so having the option to turn that off (Here and during the draft Lottery) would be nice so it's not just a blank space.

4. Graphics - Not the greatest. Yeah it's just a lottery so it's not that vital to have jaw dropping graphics and animation, but the zoom on the ping pong ball machine is pretty rugged and the announcer is choppy. It also looks like they're in a flooring showroom rather than on a presentation stage. A couple different backgrounds to choose from would be nice, maybe one for each sport (NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA) and a couple generic ones to choose from would be cool.

5. Audio Sliders - Ability to turn up/down announcer and music volume separately.



Thats all i got for now, sorry if my comments/suggestions seemed harsh but i wanted to giv e you my opinion which has been formed by showing this to 2 leagues (approx 30 people) and getting their general census of both this software and fandraft. ALl in all, it's a great tool and provides an extra bit of entertainment on draft day.. not sure it's quite with the $20 yet but i think with some enhancements it will be. Look forward to seeing whats to come!
