The BETA testing is wrapping up and we are gearing up for the big launch of “FanDraft Football 2008”. We will be announcing the launch date later this week. For those of you curious what new features will be available in the 2008 version though, here is a brief list:

General

  1. Improved performance (VISTA and XP compatible)
  2. Improved Graphics and User Interface
  3. Auto/Fluid screen resizing (no more need to constantly change screen resolution)
  4. Increased to 32 teams
  5. Import your 2007 FanDraft League/Team settings
  6. Enhanced HELP(available as in-software HELP and HTML/Online)
  7. In-software check for available software updates
  8. All of the 2008 Rookies/Player Updates

In Draft Features

  1. Enhanced “Up-and-Coming” pick display (showing up to 5 up-coming picks)
  2. Customize the position colors, and font sizes
  3. Auto-Skip Pick option (for when clock hits zero)
  4. “Auto-Calibrate” button that optimizes screen display during the draft.

Music/Audio

  1. Ability to assign “Team Song” that plays in sync with team’s “On Deck” or “Just selected” status.
  2. Ability to customize clock audio (15 seconds & clock at zero).

Player Setup

  1. Ability to import/update player “rankings”
  2. Ability to clear entire player lists with one click.
  3. One click add of “Team” type positions (Head Coaches, Team Offense, etc.)

Reports/Printing

  1. Ability to Export as CSV files
  2. New “Draft Grid” report
  3. Improved ability to printing from MS Vista

Auction Draft

  1. Live Bidding feature, allowing users to click teams and watch the bidding increase.
  2. “Final Countdown” animation, with customizable audio.
  3. Prevent team from spending more than their average dollars available allows.
